Diarrhoea having blood mucus or pus, fever, fatigue, pain when
passage of stools, headache, stomach cramps, confusion, loss of
balance, nausea and vomiting. It can be spread from person to
person through contaminated water or food.
Amoebic dysentery last for around 14 days. It can be treated by
Ant parasitic medications like metronidazole etc.
Disease is found all over the world but it is endemic in most
temperate and tropical climates zones. The recent outbreak was at
Spain in January 2017.
Drinking water is subjected to treatment which provide safe
potable water so that the water is free from pathogens.
