Student 1: Since Figure 2 shows that the spermatozoa are moving towards the lumen of the seminiferous tubule, the next area of its travel will be the rete tubules followed by the mediastinum and efferent ducts via smooth muscle contractions of the tunica albuginea.

Student 2: I disagree, the sperm travel out of the seminiferous tubules to the excurrent duct system by fluid originating in the seminiferous tubules.

Do you agree or disagree with either or both of the students? Why?

Both the students opinions are correct. Because, the excurrent duct system means of a series of tubes has a common embryonic origin and conducts sperm away from the testes to the copulatory organ, that is penis. This system consists of the efferent ductules, ductys epididymis, ductus deference and ejaculatory duct.

The first student tells all about the deep structures and processes while on the ejaculation of sperm. For example, the tunica albugenia is a layer of connective tissue which encases the testes and connects to the layers of fibers which surrounds the epididymis, the first in a series of ducts which transport sperm out if the testes and in to the penis, it happens through the contractures of the tunica albugenia.

In this way the two students are tells about the same process in sperm travell out of testes.
