The tongue helps in the mixing of food with the saliva.

Salivary glands- They produce saliva which contains salivary amylase. Amylase helps in the digestion of carbohydrates.

Pancreas- It contains amylase- It helps in the digestion of carbohydrates.

Trypsin- It helps in the digestion of proteins.

Lipase- It helps in the digestion of lipids.

Liver- It produces bile. It helps in the emulsification of fats. It is a process of breakdown of large fat droplets into smaller fat droplets.

Gall bladder- It stores bile.
