Muscular dysmorphia is a mental disorder common in males characherized by obsessions about perceived lack of muscularity, leading to compulsive excercising and use of anabolic steroids.
Similarities:-
In muscular dysmorphia persons use anabolic steroids for muscle growth beacuse they thought they were lean.
In substance abuse and addictions they use drugs for their psychological copeup with stressful situations.
Muscular dysmorphia will be associated with eating disorder. Beacuse they want to become stout.
Substance use disorders they likely to consume more drugs and they don't concentrate on food.
Similarities:-
In both the cases muscle development will takes place.
Both them use drugs for different purposes.
