Question

Compare transport maximum and filtration load to predict the urine excretion of a substance.

Compare transport maximum and filtration load to predict the urine excretion of a substance.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

When glucose in filtered load of a substance is less than that of the glucose in the transport max, there is absolutely no production of urine or "zero" urine excretion of a substance is seen. When glucose in filtered load of a substanceis higher than that of the glucose in the transport ma, then definitely we can see that urine excretion will happen based on the rise in glucose in filtered load. This is the way by which we can predict urine excretion of a substance.
