D is a fat soluble vitamin , it store in adipose tissue for longer period of time approximately 2 months.In adipose tissue it stays in inactive form (D2&D3),when ever the body requires it, inactive form converts into active form of vitD.

* vitD has structure of sterol.

* vitD2,vitD3 are called as ergocalciferol & cholecalciferol

_ vitC, biotin&thiamin are water soluble vitamins,they get hydrolysed in body and excrets through urine with in a day.
