Answer #1

Ans: Carbohydratyes are a goof source of energy. Generally RDA recommended for an average adult is 130 grams / day or 45% -65% of total calories the adult is consuming per day.RDA means an average requirement of energy or a particular nutrient per day needed to maintain healthy functioning of the body.

Carbohydrates are the main source of the energy and specially for our vital organs like brain & liver. RDA of the carbohydrates contain only need of vital organs like brain, liver and small amout remaining for the other activities. But the person who is doing intense heavy activities need more amount of energy for their body to function.

So recommended daily intake for each person is usually different it is based on their pattern of activities , life style and some other parameters like age and sex. So the recommended daily intake is generally higher than the RDA for the carbohydrates.
