There are 3 different types of proteins in H. pylori which has virulence function. They are BabA, CagA and VacA.
BabA is the one that helps the bacterium to attach itself to epithelial cells that are located in the gastric region. It is CagA protein that is responsible for all arts of infections such as peptic / gastric ulcers and cancer affecting the stomach. Vac A protein is the one that creates holes in the cell membrane of epithelium lining the stomach thereby increasing voltage channels leading to gastritis.
Aminoacids such as Aspartic acid, phenylalanine, isoleucine, glutamic acid and lastly leucine are the ones that are found in abundance with respect to H. pylori infection.
