Gas Exchange & transport is a passive process. Gases giffuse according to their partial pressure.

External respiration is a gases exchange between air and blood.

Internal respiration is a gases exchange with tissue fluids.

Oxygen transport has been bounded to hemoglobin in red blood cells or dissolved in blood plasma.

Carbon dioxide transport has been dissolved in blood plasma which is bound to hemoglobin or in the form of plasma bicarbonate.
