How does gigantism affect the adrenal gland filtration system and adrenal gland's hormone function?

Adrenal gland is the one gland that secrete hormone to maintain the body homeostasis . It helps in the regulation of BP, metabolism and immune function . It mainly had a cortex and medula .

Gigantism is caused mostly by Tumour in the pituitary gland . This will cause excess secretion of growth hormone and adrenocorticotropic hormone like cortisol . All the function of cortisol will become activated and increased . Immune system will become weak die to excess of cortisol .

This will cause the glomerular filtration rate to increase . Excretion of phosphate from blood increase as well as it will cause the reabsorption of water and na+ to blood.
