If someone has a problem with their sympathetic nervous system having depressed (insufficient) activity, how would this affect their exercise capacity? What would be different about their circulatory and respiratory system responses to exercise?
In Normal case,During Exercise, sympathetic division of the autonomic nervous system prepares your body by increasing heart rate, blood pressure and respiration. They also stimulates the release of glucose from the liver for energy
During exercise, there is release of epinephrine and norepinephrine by Sympathetic nervous system stimulate receptors in the heart which causes increased heart rate.
The AIM of the cardiorespiratory system is to deliver adequate amounts of O2 and remove waste from body tissues .
During exercise, there is increase demand for Oxygen and energy on body tissues so Sympathetic system is activated that cause increase in blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate.
But if sympathetic nervous system is depressed ,This mechanism to deliver Adequate amount of energy donot occur,So there will be muscle Fatigue.
