    - Sweat glands secrete sweat,
    - Salivary glands secrete saliva,

2) Endocrine glands

  • The glands that produce the substances known as hormones to their target organs or cells via bloodstream are known as endocrine glands.
  • Examples and by-products :
    - Pituitary gland (Growth hormone, Leuitinizing hormone),
    - Thymus (Thymosin),
    - Thyroid gland (Thyroxine) ,
    - Adrenal glands ( Epinephrine, Nor-epinephrine)
