Answer #1

Answer)

  • The heart does not need a brain, or a body for that matter, to keep beating.
  • The heart has its own electrical system that causes it to beat and pump blood. Because of this, the heart can continue to beat for a short time after brain death, or after being removed from the body.
  • The heart will keep beating as long as it has oxygen.

THE UNIQUE FEATURE :- SA node
# The heart's natural pacemaker is called the sinoatrial node (SA node) and is located in the right atrium.

  • SA node has ability to generate electrical impulse.
  • The heart also has specialized fibers to conduct the electrical impulse from the SA node to the rest of the heart and generate beats.
  • These impulses cause the cardiac muscles to contract.
