What is the cell cycle?
Cell cycle is a series of stages or events which take place in a cell, it leads to division of a cell in to cells. The total cell cycle includes two stages which are interphase and divisional phase.

Mitosis:
Its a type of cell division which results two daughter cells which have same chromosome number as like its mother cell. As the daughter cells maintain same chromosome number, it is refered as equivational type of cell division.
