Liver is well understood organ of the body.

The metabolic effects of liver are well understood. The liver is associate with the formation of bile. It also filters the blood arriving from digestive tract. It also performs storage of certain vitamins and glycogen. Liver is associated with biotransformation of drugs and xenobiotics.

Brain is least understood organ of the body.

Hippocrates recognized the brain to be the center of intelligence and controlled the senses. Scientist are continually putting efforts and making progress to understand the actions this complex organ and identifying new strategies to study it. Still the brain remains the least understood organ in human body.
