Procedure 1- supine
Procedure 2- sitting, feet on floor
Procedure 3- sitting, arms crossed deep breathing
Procedure 4- recovery from exercise

Dear Student,

During exercise the cardiac rate increases thereby increasing the stroke volume

Examination results of the effects of exercise:

Procedure 2 :First the subject should be positioned in a relaxed and sitting position and record the readings for 20-30 seconds .Then patient is asked to make some exercise and recording must be done immediately.

Then procedure 4 must be performed (recovery from exercise) .This is because during exercise,muscle movement will generate EMG signals which will mask ECG signals which is of no use.
