Yes, it's necessary for the patient to know about their health condition. As per ethical practices the therapist should explain the health condition/status to the patient because it's patient rights to know about their health.The therapist are also truthful to the patient about the health condition because only if the patient knows exactly what is happening on the health, patient can follow the treatment orderly with an understanding of the disease improves the treatment result by improving their health. This helps the therapist to treat the health condition easier along with the understanding and cooperation of the patient.
