"SCAPULAR DEPRESSION" can be isolated by depressing the shoulder downward and the movement include adjustments in depression of clavicle and External rotation of Acromioclavicular Joint.
STARTING POSTURE | Side lying position with hands on the side of the body |
RESISTANCE | Resistance is apllied on the inferior angle of the scapula |
MOVEMENT DETAILS | Ask the person to lie in side lying position with arms on the side of the body and the trainer places one hand on the superior aspect of shoulder girdle and the other in the inferior angle of scapula.Ask the person to press the arm hand downward and you apply resistance over inferior angle of scapula. |
