Answer #1

Answer: option e - coronary sinus; right atrium

The deoxygenated blood from myocardium is collected by cardiac veins and carries this blood into the right atrium through coronary sinus. This deoxygenated blood then directs into the lungs and converts into oxygenated blood. Most of the venous blood returns via the coronary sinus.

Coronary sinus is formed by a collection of large number of smaller veins, is majorly consists of three groups:

1. Great cardiac vein

2. Middle cardiac vein

3. Small cardiac vein

All these cardiac veins drains the blood into the coronary sinus which is opened into the right atrium.
