the following tests should be performed:-

  • pulse oximeter:- it measures the oxygen in our blood by using finger sensor.
  • arterial blood gas test:- blood takes through needle and measure the level of oxygen
  • Other breathing tests like breathing into tubes and those connected to computer or other systems.
