Primarily Villi are present in small intestine for increasing surface area. There are almost 600 folds present in small intestine which increase the surface area for absorption like circular folds, microvilli. Majority of the absorption occurs in first two third part of small intestine.
The incisors present at the anterior of mouth have a sharp biting surface and used for cutting or shearing of food into small pieces . After incisor , comes the canine whose function is to grip and tear food.
