Describe the experiment performed by Egly, Driver, and Rafal

Answer #1

Object based attention theory

The study conducted by Egly ,Driver and Rafael was called object based attention evaluated by cuing. This theory speaks that the object based attention will shift quicker within an object when compared between objects . A cued reaction time consuming task with a normal participant and a parietal damaged patients provided evidence for object based components of such visual orientation. Their theory also ndicated ,while we look for target in-between objects there is also a preference to bring about shift of eyes in the same object, rather than between objects The result of this was that it is quicker to find a point that is located on a cued object than it was to locate the point when it is same length away but uncued.
