Answer #1
  1. Lactate is a byproduct of Glucose utilised by muscle cells. During exercise the oxygen to the cells decrease, which cause to hypoxia. Hypoxia leads to anaerobic energy synthesis from the stored glucose. Higher the utilization of glucose means that higher the lactate production. Because the muscle cells utilize high amount of Glucose as energy source during the exercise. If the exercise intensity increases the blood Lactate value start to rise up to the Lactate Threshold (LT).
  2. LT is the upper limit of a person's sustainable efforts in the training. The accumulation of Lactate in blood will reduce the ability to contract the muscle. LT test used to determine an appropriate training intensity and monitor progression in the person of all levels.
