Ans 1: Structure of Renal Artery

• Renal artery is one of the pair of large blood vessels that branch off from the abdominal aorta and enter into each kidney. At the inner concavity of each kidney, there is a opening, known as hilum, through which the renal artery passes.
• Renal artery is a blood vessel that carries oxygenated blood from the heart to the kidneys. Inside kidney, renal artery branched further to supply blood to the interior components of the kidney.
• Renal artery carries mineral rich, oxygenated blood from heart to the kidneys for nutrition and cellular respiration.
