It is said that athletic skill is a trait. Absolutely yes, the athletic performance is a complex trait of both genetic and environmental factors. The physical traits can help to determine an individual's ability in strength of the muscle used for the movement. Selectively for a athletic person the basic body structure needed to be matching the performance. Like those who have a trait of long body,  muscular body have the ability to do in performance than the trait with short body, skinny body. These changes in the trait will determine the athletic skill of a person.
