The basis of NANDA -I taxonomy is Human response pattern.

Human response pattern limited to activity, nutrition, self care, fluid volume and sensory perception.

It only includes basic needs that compromise less tham merely health pattern.

It doesn't include pathophysiological needs.

NANDA is international, originally known as North American Nursing Diagnosis Association, was found in 1982. It's purpose is to set the standardized terminology, so that nurses can use and communicate universal terms for better understanding of the patient need.
