Answer #1

Ans 1) The supinator muscle is the one which originates on the lateral epicondyle of humerus and on the adjacent ulna and it inserts into the anterior surface o proximal radius. It is a broad muscle which is located within the posterior side of forearm and it helps with the supination of the forearm. It is cylindrical in shape and it curves around upper third of the radius bone. Supinator is one of the muscles which is located within the posterior or extensor forearm compartment. The muscle attaches to radial collateral ligament as well as radial annular ligaments.
