The Sexual response cycle referes to sequence of physical and emotinal changes that occur as a person become sexually aroused and participates in sexually stimulating activity like intercourse and masturbation. Knowing how your responds during each phase of cycle can inhance your relationship and help pinpoint the cause of sexual dysfunction.It is not the model of sexual response cycle,but it is best known one.

The sexual response cycle has four phses.1.desire 2.Arousal 3.Orgasm 4.resolution..Both men and women experience these phase,Although the timing usually different.For example it is unlikely that both partners will reach the orgasm at the same.In addition the intensity of response and time spent in each phase varies from person to person.Many women will not go through sexual phases in this order.Some of these stges may be absent during some sexual encounter or out of sequence in others.

Several physiological changes may occur during each phase of sexual intercourse.

1.Desire. Muscle tension increases.Heart rate quicknes and breathing is accelerated.

2.Arousal:

Uterine wall continue to swell from increased blood flow and wall turn become dark purple.

3.Orgasm.
