ANSWER- When the injection of KCL is given and stays outside the cell,causes the imbalance in resting membrane potential because the number of potassium in the cell and outside is not balanced.Thats why the intravenous injection of KCL is fatal.

- The heart work on sodium and potassium pump to maintain balance,caused by the intravenous injection meaning the heart will not be able to do its job that is to pump the blood and transfer oxygen and required nutrients needed by the cells and tissues.Thus the person may ending up death because of lack of oxygen.
