Answer #1

Fear is a part of human emotion which is felt by the human where there is a situation of threat, danger or a unpleasant harm to the individual.

The first sensory stimulus about fear is received by the amygdala and then it firstly toured to the thalamus part of brain. From the thalamus it is divided into two parallel routes named as thalamo-amygdala pathway which is a short route and thalamo-Cortico amygdala pathway which is long route that carries information about the fear emotion.

So, Thalamus is the brain part that first routes the fear response created by the sensory information received to the brain.

My biggest fear about being a new nurse is not knowing what to do in the daily routine of being a nurse. We learn a lot in school about the meds and diseases but not a lot about day to day nurses work. This includes paging doctors, calling pharmacy about meds, making notes, giving reports, etcetera. I think working in a hospital will help with some of the fear because I have been able to see the nurses do these...

Plot the first seven values of the step response. Is the response increasing or decreasing with time? Is this what you would expect, and why? H(z)= (z^2-z-2)/(z^2+1.5z-1) I calculated the step response to be y(n)= (0.5333(-2)^n+1.3333+1.8(0.5)^n)u[n] In the plot, half of the points increasing and the other half decreasing. Is this correct because of the unstable system?   Thanks

A helium neon laser (633 nm) is shown through a very narrow single opening and creates a diffraction pattern.   Measuring difficulties result in a measurement from just outside the maximum to the left of the central maximum to the corresponding point on the right side of the central maximum.   This measurement is 4.4cm.   The pattern is displayed on a screen 2m from the opening.   What is the width of the opening?
