Answer #1

The refractory period is the time gap or recovery phase after a period of orgasm. In men, the refractory period may vary individual to individual. It may one hour or few hours or even one day for next erection but females may not have refractory period like males or may have short period. The increased blood flow to the reproductive organs in both males and females cause vasocongestion during sexual activity. The tissues of female reproductive structures cause the muscles to become tight and form orgasmic platform in females and this is not observed in males. Both the male and female structures have the ability or capacity to release secretions during sexual activity. The female reproductive structur also contains erectile tissue composed of corpora cavernosa and corpus spongiosum. Therefore, the options 1,3,4 and 5 are correct (TRUE).
