Oxytocin is responsible for induction of labour. It causes strong uterine contractions to expel the baby out of uterus.

Estrogen is a hormone which is responsible for development of secondary sexual characters. It also regulate the menstrual cycle and also helps in growth of uterine lining.

Corticotropic releasing hormone is a peptide hormone. Its main function is stimulation of pituitary synthesis of ACTH.

The main function of progesterone is maintenance of inner lining (endometrium) of uterus. It also maintains the pregnancy and helps in implantation.

Dopamine is a neurotransmitter. It acts as a messenger molecule. Low level of dopamine is responsible for the development of Parkinson's disease.
