Neuromuscular junction is connection (or chemical synapse) between motor neuron and muscle. It is made of presynaptic membrane of motor neuron, synaptic cleft and motor end plate. Neurotransmitters (which are stored in synaptic vesicle) are released in synaptic cleft from presynaptic neuron upon stimulation. Neurotransmitters (Acetylcholine) the diffuse to reach motor end plate and bind to its receptor. It's function is to transmit neural impulse to muscle and this lead to muscle contraction.
