Ans. Living at high altitude renders athletes to have a better oxygen capacity as the air is thinner at high altitudes. Owing to which lesser oxygen molecules would be available and during training the endurance would decrease as the oxygen demands would not be fulfilled at such levels. It has been widely acclimatized that training at higher altitudes would result in the plateau phase with lack of endurance. Thus in order to appraise the aerobic performance and and have a better cardiac capacity it is better to live in high altitudes but train at sea level.
