Answer #1

The data for the problem is not provided

So using variables to solve a problem

Let us assume that we went for buying pulses at the grocery store

Price $a for 1 Kg pack

Price $b for 5 Kg pack

Unit price of 1Kg pulse packet = min($a,$b/5)

Let us assume that we went for buying pulses at the online store

Price $c for 1 Kg pack

Price $d for 5 Kg pack

Unit price of 1Kg pulse packet at online store = min($c,$d/5)

For online store, price will be min($c,$d/5)

For grocery store, price will be min($a,$b/5)

If ( min($a,$b/5) > min($c,$d/5))

Then online store is providing better deal

If ( min($a,$b/5) < min($c,$d/5))

Then grocery store is providing better deal
