On my summer road trip, I drove from Rapid City, SD to Grand Forks, ND. In looking at my GPS, I

saw that there were two suggested routes. I noted with interest that the routes made up the lengths of a

right triangle. The hypotenuse ran northeast along a local highway and the legs of the triangle were

freeways. My GPS is programmed to calculate time based on my average rate of speed - 5 mph above

any posted speed limits - which were 65 mph for local highways and 75 mph for freeways in the

Dakotas. I was surprised to see that even though the hypotenuse was 80 miles shorter than the legs, that

route took 6 minutes longer.

Based on the above information, draw the cities and the two routes, labelling the distances on each side

of the triangle.
