I have a simple question. Can a fourth order polynomial equation be solved by hand? Or do you need to use computer program or calculator program to solve it? For example you can solve second order polynomial equation using quadratic equation if you want to solve it by hand. Can you do something similar with fourth order? Or does it have to be done on math programs?

Use C++ in Solving Ordinary Differential Equations using a Fourth-Order Runge-Kutta of Your Own Creation Assignment: Design and construct a computer program in C++ that will illustrate the use of a fourth-order explicit Runge-Kutta method of your own design. In other words, you will first have to solve the Runge-Kutta equations of condition for the coefficients of a fourth-order Runge-Kutta method.   See the Mathematica notebook on solving the equations for 4th order RK method.   That notebook can be found at...

FOR MGMT 205 * I DO NOT WANT AN ANSWER THAT TALKS ABOUT TOBACCO OR BONDS** Your problem will have exactly two variables (an X1 and an X2) and will incorporate a maximization (either profit or revenue) objective. You will include at least four constraints (not including the X1 ? 0 and X2 ? 0 [i.e., the “Non-negativity” or “Duh!”] constraints). At least one of these four must be a “?” constraint, and at least one other must be a...

The implication of the Obama-era Net Neutrality Order is that ISPs and governments regulating the Internet should treat all data on the internet the same, not discriminating or charging differentially by user, content, website, platform, application, type of attached equipment, or mode of communication. At first glance, this implication appears to be egalitarian and ensure that the Internet is available to all content providers. ISPs won't be able to throttle data based on usage or charge a premium to ensure...

MIPS ASSEMBLY Have the user input a string and then be able to make changes to the characters that are in the string until they are ready to stop. We will need to read in several pieces of data from the user, including a string and multiple characters. You can set a maximum size for the user string, however, the specific size of the string can change and you can’t ask them how long the string is (see the sample...

Assignment: Banner Ads (Please do not attempt to solve if you can not fulfill all the requirements!!!!) A common trend in e-marketing is designing something "in-house" and then outsourcing the actual development of the item overseas. Substantial cost savings can be realized in this fashion, as people in other countries will often do the same work at a fraction of the price that it can be done within the U.S. The problem with this is that people living overseas live...
