Homework Answers

Answer #1

For male candidate

1 feet =30.48cm

2.5 feet =76.2 cm

Length of race = 5km=5000m=500,000 cm

No of steps = 500,000/76.2 =6561.7 as no of steps cant be in fraction so number of steps would be 6562

For female candidate

1 feet =30.48cm

2.2 feet =67.056 cm

Length of race = 5km=5000m=500,000 cm

No of steps = 500,000/67.056 =7456.5 as no of steps cant be in fraction so number of steps would be 7457 .

You have a task of identifying alligators and crocodiles based on their respective lengths. The average length of an adult crocodile is about 15 feet, while the average length of an adult alligator is 12 feet.
