Three dice are rolled.  Find the probability that the numbers that appear

Are 3 different numbers

Are all even or all odd

Answer #1

Answer :

The total number of out comes when we rolled three dice is 36 = 729

The total number of outcomes that appears three different number is 6 x 5 x 4 =120

The probability that the numbers that appear are 3 different numbers is 120 / 729 = 0.1646

The total number of outcomes that appears three are even is 3 x 3 x 3 = 27

The total number of outcomes that appears three are odd is 3 x 3 x 3 = 27

The probability that the numbers that appear are all even or all odd is (27 + 27) / 36 = 54/729 = 0.0741
