Let us take the variables as X1, X2, X3 affecting our variable Y ( corona deaths in a country in any unit time)

Let us define the variables :-

X1 as the no of positive cases in the country in a unit time which is positively correalated with Y as increase in X1 would imply a increase in deaths.

X2 as the no of recovered patients in the country in a unit time which is negatively correlated with Y as ( if X2 increases clearly Y would decrease)

X3 as the avarage age of the positive patients in the country in a unit time which is again positively correlated with Y as the death rate in the elderly patients ( example senior citizens) is higer in compared to patient's having young age.
