Answer #1

Solution:For  Plan A, the customer pays a monthly fee of $41.40 and then an additional 4 cents per minute of use

therefore for m minutes

Total cost = 41.40 + 4m

For Plan B, the customer pays a monthly fee of $35 and then an additional 6 cents per minute of use.

therefore for m minutes

Total cost = 35 + 6m

amounts of monthly phone use will Plan A cost no more than Plan B

41.40 + 4m > 35 + 6m

41.40 -35 > 6m -4m

6.4 > 2m

m < 3.2

Answer : for minute less than 3.2 amounts of monthly phone use will Plan A cost no more than Plan B
