How do I know the limit of convergence when x_(k+1) is in terms of x_k.

For example If the equation for the limit is just in x_k's how would you take the limit from k to infinity when the actual values of xk is unknown.

When looking at a graph how do you know if it is zero order, first order, second order. Would I be right to assume that if the y axis, would be In HOF for first order, HOF for zero order, and 1/HOF for second order. Would the equation y = mx+b change. For example y = -0.17x-0.61 change? What would be an example of the equation for zero, first and second order?

1. To test the series ∞∑k=1 1/5√k^3 for convergence, you can use the P-test. (You could also use the Integral Test, as is the case with all series of this type.) According to the P-test: ∞∑k=1 1/5√k^3 converges the P-test does not apply to ∞∑k=1 1/5√k^3 ∞∑k=1 1/5√k^3 diverges Now compute s4, the partial sum consisting of the first 4 terms of ∞∑k=1 1 /5√k^3: s4= 2. 1. Test the series below for convergence using the Root Test. ∞∑n=1 (4n/10n+1)^n The limit of the root test simplifies to lim n→∞ |f(n)| where f(n)= The limit is:     Based on this, the series Diverges Converges 2. We want to use the Alternating Series Test to determine if the series: ∞∑k=4 (−1)^k+2 k^2/√k^5+3 converges or diverges. We can conclude that: The Alternating Series Test does not apply because the terms of the series do not alternate. The Alternating Series Test...

When naming chemical elements, how do I know when to use the prefixes (mono-,di-,tri-, etc.) or the roman numerals in paranthesis? I noticed I am getting some wrong. Sometimes I don't need the prefixes at all or sometimes I need the parenthesis instead of the prefixes or vice versa. I know there are different compounds when it comes to naming such as binary compounds, polyatomics, transition metals, etc. I need some clarification on the topic. For example, GaBr3 is Gallium(III)...

In chemistry I'm having problems solving equilibrium problems because I don't know how to rearrange the equation: how do you reaarange this: given: kp = 0.997 0.997= [3.00]^2 [O2] / [0.520]^2 you need to find [O2]. I don't need you to actually solve this, just provide me with examples of how to set this up so I can solve for [O2] or if you have: k=[0.1-x]^2 [0.5-2x]^3 / [2.3-3x]^2
