Question

Hi I am trying to prove this statement but I'm not sure how to go about doing so. The statement is: Let q be greater than or equal to 2 be a positive integer. If for all integers a and a,whenever q|ab, q|a, or q|b, then q is prime.

Answer #1

Hi I am trying to write a proof but I am a little stuck. The
proposition is: If c is greater than or equal to 2 is a composite
integer then there exists a positive integer b greater than or
equal to 2 such that b|c and b is less than or equal to root. I
thought of doing an existence proof but Im not sure what to do
after that.

Hi I am trying some proofs and I am stuck on this one. It says
to prove or give a counter example. For each real number p, there
exist real numbers q and r such that qsin(r/5) =p.

I am trying to prove that (sn) is a Cauchy sequence
where |sn+1-sn| < 2-n.
So far, I have figured out that |sm-sn|
<= 1/2m+1 + 1/2m+2 + ... +
1/2n. I want to try to not use the geometric series
condition. My professor hinted that the right hand side is less
than 2/2n but I'm not sure how to find that or how to go
from here!

I have a few questions that I'm not sure how to go about doing?
This is what I was asked:
Use the table of transforms, linearity, and s-shifting to find
F(s) = L (f(t)) for each of the following functions. Write the
result as a rational function P(s)/Q(s).
1) f(t) = −4 + e^(−t)
2) f(t) = e^(4t) − 10 + sin t
3) f(t) = cos(2t − 5) (Hint: use the identity cos x ± y = cos x...

I am very new to coding and I am trying to understand how I can
go about connecting my Java Program to my Java GUI? I built my JAVA
program using eclipse, I created a database using mysql workbench
and connected the two (java program and mysql database). I also
created two GUI interfaces using Netbeans but Im not sure how to
bring these together?

I'm using Rstudio and i am not very familiar using it. I am not
sure how i am suppose to code this to place it in the chunk to get
results.
Let's think of calendar year 2016 as a sample of all the days in
olywthr. First create a dataframe, cal2016, containing only days in
2016 from the larger dataframe olywthr (I have supplied the R code
to do this in the following chunk). Run str() and summary() on the...

I am trying to write an if-else statement in Java with 7
different variables, initialized and declared as integers. I want
to write an if-else statement that says "You win!" if their sum
equals 21, but says "Sum does not equal 21, exiting program."
otherwise. If the sum does not equal 21, then I would need to close
the keyboard as well.

Hi, I'm starting a course really late. I'm not sure if this is
where I go for help. Anyway, if you can assist me with the
following discussion question, that would be great.

calculations, however the statement itself confuses me and i am not
sure what that would require me to do when writing general journal
entries
