If 1500 ml of blood flow through the liver each minute, how many liters flow each day? Express in real numbers and exponentially.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

-Given that ,1500 ml of blood flow through the liver in each minute

We have to calculate how many litter of blood flow through in each day

We know 1 hours = 60 min

And in 1 day there are 24 hours

Therefore, 1 day=24 hours=(24×60) min=1440 min

-In 1 minute 1500 ml blood flow through in 1 minute

Therefore

Quantity of blood flow through in 1 day = (1440×1500) ml

=21,60,000 ml

We know , 1000ml = 1 Litter

Quantity of blood flow through in 1day = (21,60,000/1000) L

= 2160 Litter

Therefore ,2160 Litter of blood flow through in 1 day

Hi, were learning how to calculate blood flow to different organs by using "ml/100g/min". In our example question is says if a organ weighs 200g and the total blood flow is 400ml/min then the answer would be 200ml/100g/min. How to do I set this calculation up? I'm really confused! Please show step by step please. Thank you
