Cash budget is prepared monthly, quarterly or early as per the requirement of the company. It also provides the status of the company's cash at a specified period of time.

Excess cash might be used for the following purposes :-

  • For creating cash Reserves.
  • For meeting current expenses.
  • For paying off the current liabilities like bills payable,creditors etc.
  • For making small Investments.
  • For paying off Bank overdrafts etc.
  • For investing in own business.
