LIMITATIONS OF REGRESSION ANALYSIS

  • The very problematic thing about regression analysis is that it only shows linear relationship.
  • The coefficient changes with the changes of other interdependent variables.
  • It go through a very long procedure that is why it is time consuming process.
  • It only works for quantitative data and cannot measure qualitative points.
  • It requires too many calculations and analysis which is lengthy for anyone to complete in less time.
  • It is only suitable for the limited data as it is not possible to calculate and analyse too many regressions together.
  • Sometime the results misleads due to the assumptions.
