Publication in a refereed journal is more difficult than professional journal articles because each article published in a refereed journal are closely examined by a panel of experts or in other words it involves an academic team for quality control.The refereed journal has certain guidelines for papers to be published and are expert approved hence it can be used as a authoritative source of information.On the other hand a professional journal is written for people who work in a certain field such as teachers,doctors,nurses etc..professional journals mainly address workplace issues ,provide tips on better performance and other work related issues from this we can easily conclude that refereed journals are more difficult in respect of publication because they are peer reviewed ,competitive,filtered and includes citations
