Because, Balance scorecard tells about four perspectives of how the company can be seen by the customers,shareholders and ourselves

The Shareholder perspctive is nothing but in a Financial Perspective. So, it can be included in an accounting textbook,

Because the accountant is required to know about How they were assessed. They were assessed in Financial Perspective that is they use shareholders value delivering perspective in order to assess whether the financial department is doing well or not.

Another Reason Balance scorecard is to included in accounting text book is that it is related to management activity. The Accounts student is required to know about these management tool inorder to co-ordinate better with thge management.
