	Section D: CVP Analysis or Vertical Analysis - complete one of the two
	Sally starts a business in which she sells seashells by the seashore. She buys the seashells for $5.00 each and sells each for a price of $8.50. In order to sell to the public, Sally rents an umbrella to protect herself from the sun and a table to use on a nearby beach. The rental of both items together costs Sally $301 per day (Ouch! Talk about getting burned!).
	Set up an Excel spreadsheet which will
	(1) What is Sally’s contribution margin per seashell?
	Answer to (1) ====>
	(2) Calculate the number of seashells Sally must sell in order to breakeven.
	Answer to (2) ====>
	(3) Tell how much that translates to in sales revenue, which is the amount of sales in dollars (the US not sand) to breakeven.
	Answer to (3) ====>
	(4) If Sally is not happy unless she makes a $1,764 profit per day, how many seashells must she sell (target sales in units)?
