IASB framework applies to general purpose financial statements only. The IASB framework has limited scope as it discusses objectives with reference to business entities only. The main objective of financial statements according to IASB conceptual framework is to provide “ useful information to the users” It provides financial information related to business entity that is useful to existing and potential investors, lenders, government and other external users of the information.IASB Conceptual framework is based on two assumptions i.e. going concern and accrual principle.
